Last day —
Boarding the bus with all the feels (on the part of me).
So many changes.
We had Dean; now we have Jerry. We had temp checks and masks and assigned seating for family groups; now we have none of that, just a bus ride.
If I’ve said it once, I’ve said it a hundred times: I can’t believe we made it past Labor Day — and here we are, May 18, done.
Next time the bus comes, Jenna can get on it. So crazy.
Trust in the good and carry on! Carry on! (Isaiah 40:31)

It was my schools last day too! All my kids are grown, and most of my grandkids are now in school. I’ve been a school secretary for 30+ years, this year being the hardest. Prayers for normalcy and all we take for granted. Enjoy your summertime with your kids, August 12 (for our district) will be here before you now it!

Thank you for doing that job! It’s the first line and the last line for so many people.
I should look up when our first day is — it’s around that time, too.
